Mary Yerkes is an award-winning author, speaker, spiritual companion, and certified professional life coach who specializes in writing for the inspirational and general markets. She has a special interest in spiritual formation but also writes frequently on Christian living, women’s issues, teen issues, chronic illness, coaching, soul-care, and leadership.
Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 1997, Mary writes a monthly chronic illness column for the National Association of Baby Boomer Women. She is passionate about helping the chronically ill live life to the full, despite their physical and emotional limitations.

Mary lives with her husband Paul live in Northern Virginia. She enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and good coffee. Mary and Paul have one son Ricky who lives in Philadelphia with his wife Diana.
