“Mary captured the hearts of men and women from the beginning.
Her words had the anointing of God upon them and lives were changed.”
Mary Yerkes’ experience as a wife, mother, ministry leader, and professional communicator, combined with years spent overcoming such difficult life challenges as abuse, depression, and chronic pain and illness, give her a unique perspective from which to share God’s redemptive love.
She speaks to leaders, women’s groups, artists, and professionals concerning intimacy with Jesus Christ, spiritual formation, emotionally healthy spirituality, life calling and purpose, life challenges, emotional healing, and chronic pain and illness. Sensitive to both the Holy Spirit and the needs of her audience, she awakens hearts and minds to spiritual truths that transform. Appreciated by young and old alike, Mary’s unique insights, engaging style, and transparency enable her to connect with audiences from a variety of Christian traditions.
Mary lives with her husband Paul in Northern Virginia about 40 minutes outside of Washington, DC. When she isn’t speaking, Mary enjoys taking prayer walks through the beautiful Virginia countryside.
